Clean, Polish & Condition Service
The best way to keep your Red Wing work boots and shoes in good repair is to keep them clean. Not only does the use of genuine Red Wing shoe oil help protect your boots, it also keeps them looking like new for even longer. That’s why every 30 days you can bring your boots into one of our three Richmond locations and have your boots professionally cleaned, polish, condition till they shine like new!
Lace and Eyelet Turning Service
E one of our shoelaces is tested for 50,000 repetitions of tying and untying. However, that doesn’t mean that they won’t eventually need to be replaced. When you bring your shoes in for their monthly cleaning, we’ll assess the condition of your laces. If they need to be replaced we’ll do just that, at no cost to you. This way you never have the excuse of broken or frayed laces to use for not wearing your Red Wing boots. On top of that, we’ll turn the eyelets on your boots or shoes (as needed). This will keep them rounder longer, and prevent unneeded damage to your leather.
Insole Assessment Service
While the outside of our boots may seem to last forever, eventually the insoles will start to fade. When you bring your boots in for their monthly check-up we don’t just give them a once over and send you on your way, we ask how they feel when you’re walking. By both looking at your insoles and talking with you to find out how they feel when you’re wearing them, we can determine if you need to invest in Red Wing insoles or even orthotics to help protect your feet, ankles, and knees for the long term.
In addition to talking with you, we even have a machine that allows us to see how your feet are supporting you. This machine will pick out the perfect insoles to fit the needs of your feet! That way, you’ll be wearing your boots in comfort every time you pull them on.
Minor Repair Service
Even our boots need the occasional small repairs. We’re able to do minor repairs to your boots in-store, but for major repairs we will send them straight back to the Red Wing shoes factory. When you bring in your boots for their monthly review, we don’t just clean them! We look to see if there’s anything that needs to be done to extend the life of your boots. Resoling your boots alone can extend the life of your boots for decades!
