Red Wing's Irish Setters
In 1950, Red Wing Shoes introduced a new boot – style 854. Crafted by experts out of the beautiful Red Russet leather, Irish Setters were born. The name would go on to be synonymous with quality, durability, and comfort for generations of hunters and workers by proving itself in the field and on the job site. Over it’s 60 years, the Irish Setter line has expanded to include completely purpose-driven footwear. If you’re a believer that there’s a perfect tool for every job, you won’t need to look much farther then our Irish Setter line.
Irish Setters come in 2 loose-fitting categories: Hunting Boots and Work Boots. While any boot from either line is certainly capable of tackling any type of work and play you need it to, they are also specialized in their purpose. For instance, some are steel toed for those who’d like to keep all their digits on the job site. Some are insulated against cold weather for hikes in the snow. Some are incredibly heat resistant for those jobs that feel like you’re working in an oven. Some are waterproof, some are cushioned, and some are non-conductive. The great thing is, all of these boots have a many if not all, of the traits above. You can mix and match these traits to find the perfect boot for your needs – the perfect tool for the job.
