The proprietary polymer we use in construction of our Injex boots is fully waterproof and lighter than rubber… but stronger and more durable. If you’re on your feet in sopping wet environments all day, you know how important it is to save a little bit of weight.
These boots are injection molded on a million dollar, custom built and purposed injection molded machine. This machine mixes the polymer compounds at 10,000 rpm and injects them into the mold while still blazing hot. The outcome? A perfectly mixed polymer, injected into a perfect mold… the perfect boot!
However, it wouldn’t be a Red Wing boot if we didn’t take it to the next level. Once the injection molding process is complete, we let our craftsman get their hands on them. After a rigorous quality control inspection, our craftsmen work tirelessly to put the finishing touches on each and every Injex boot. You can rest assured… if it’s got the Red Wing name on it, it’ll be one of the finest work boots you ever wear.
