Part Four of the Red Wing Heritage Series: Red Wing 9016, the Beckman Round!
The Red Wing Heritage Collection is popular amongst those who appreciate the finer things in life, and after one look, it’s easy to understand why. These boots pay homage to a time when quality was synonymous with good business, where the same guy that you bought your boots from was the same guy that built them – and cleaned them up when you asked him to. Our final look at the Red Wing Heritage collection features an all-time favorite: the Red Wing 9016 – the Beckman Round!
The Red Wing Beckman Round is a 6 inch, round toed boot constructed from from Red Wing’s famous and exclusive Cigar Featherstone leather on a No. 8. last. Like all Red Wings, the Beckman Round footbeds will fit comfortably tight around your feet at first, with ample toe room. As you wear them in, however, the full grain leather upper and leather footbed mold to your foot, making this boot the most rugged and comfortable boot you’ll ever wear. our Cigar Featherstone leather features a classic and polished look that screams elegance. As such, this isn’t necessarily the boot you’d wear on the construction site, rather the one you’d wear out to dinner with the in-laws later.
The Red Wing Beckman Round was another of C.E. Beckman’s answers for the muddy streets of Minnesota. Tired of not being able to find quality work boots, Beckman seized the entrepreneurial spirit and began creating them himself. As time went on, his unmatchably hiqh-quality boots became more and more popular for their durability and beauty, and Beckman’s Round-toes became simply the “Beckman Round.”
The Heritage Collection’s Beckman Rounds incorporate the quality, crafstmanship, and artisanal tradition of Beckman’s first pair of round-toed work boots, and are one of our most popular and fastest selling boots of all time.
