Happy Holidays from all of us at Red Wing Richmond! Times are tough, and it’s been hard on many families throughout Richmond. Kids throughout RVA are at risk of not having a toy under the tree this year… and we need to help them! We’re doing our part to help them with our yearly Toys for Tots drive – and we hope you can lend us a hand before Dec. 17th!

When the Marines call, Red Wing Richmond answers. We’re continuing our dedication to giving back to the community that supports us by partnering with the United States Marine Corps in their annual Christmas Toys for Tots program!

The Marine Toys For Tots Program

Christmas is a special time of year, and it’s even more special for children. Each one deserves to have a toy under the tree, and the Marines have made it their mission to see that they do… and the USMC is not in the business of failing to complete their objective. However, they need your help!

The Marine Toys for Tots program is very simple. They just need you to bring new, unopened and unwrapped toys to any of their designated drop-off locations in the greater Richmond metro area (all 3 of our stores.) Drop the toys off, and that’s it on your part! The Marines will collect these toys before December 17th. From there, they sort them out and distribute them to kids throughout the Richmond area that otherwise wouldn’t get a toy at all.

We love being a partner with the Marines for this awesome program, but we need your help! Next time you’re planning on trying on a pair of boots at our stores or getting your boots cleaned, considering bringing a toy with you to donate. It makes a world of difference!
